Selling specialised seating, sleep support systems and lifting equipment to schools, social services and residential care homes throughout the UK, the company now seeks an Area Sales Manager for Scotland.
THE POSITION
Key to success in this ASM role is the ability to build relationships with clinicians and managers whilst ensuring the client’s needs are properly met. Stay Safe with Safety Sleep™
Following the success of achieving 100% for Overall Performance Rating in the NHS Buyers Guide, Night Time Postural Management Equipment for Children last summer, Symmetrikit have launched an extension to their Symmetrisleep™ range.
Safety Sleep™ provides moulding, support and temperature control throughout its range of pillows and pads. Constructed from anti smother “breathe through” fabrics with a super soft bamboo cover, they prevent pooling of liquids near the skin and allow free air movement.
The other extension to the range, Airmantle with Omnitherm, is a perpetual comfort management system where excess body heat is absorbed, “charging up” the fabric which seeks thermal equilibrium by distributing heat through the fabric. When body temperature becomes cooler than the Omnitherm layer, heat cycles back to the body maintaining thermal equilibrium. This reduces client discomfort, irritability and the extremes of tiredness associated with temperature irregularities.

The Science of Successful Seating
Symmetrikit, part of The Helping Hand Company launched their new Symmetrikit chair in June. The modular chair offers three levels of support and is tailored to the client’s needs.
The chairs come as manual and 2 or 3 power options and are a multi functional piece of furniture for tilt in space sitting, reclining and side lying. Every aspect of the chair can be adjusted so chairs are calibrated to help when setting and re-setting a chair.
